No Frills Psychic

When I first started taking a vested interest in the esoteric in the mid and late 1970's it was somewhat "Fat Free"; that is to say that things weren't so meshed together, eastern & western philosophies coupled alongside High & Low Magick.  If you were a witch then that's what you were, you weren't a "Celtic Shaman" or any number of other buzz terms that have come about over the past couple of decades during which all of Metaphysics has become commercialized and horridly so.  Thumb-sized Quartz crystals I was picking up for a quarter in the 80's now retail for $20.00 or more. . .

. . . and not for any reason other than pure greed, be it on the part of the mining company, the middle-man or the merchant. . . or all the above!

Granted, they will each offer you a story as to why that crystal is worth such a price much in the same manner any used car salesman builds value in that vehicle that's just a hair outside your budget limits, just so they can steal that extra dollar or two out of your pocket.

There is nothing wrong with being in business or for that matter, being in this particular business.  What is the problem is when we the merchant become guilty of "usury"; the sin of over-charging and abusing the consumer -- taking unfair advantage of "the mark", as we used to call folks on the carnival back-lot. 

As best I'm able I give back to the community and most especially those that visit, inviting me into their lives as a counselor and guide. Where I may in fact charge a fee for my time, it is nominal by most standards. Even my books and manuscripts come to you in a manner that is mindful of your budget and yet, I am the one chastised  for being so fluid; some even sneering over the fact that I do not place a higher monetary value to what I share.  Then for me, such is perfectly fine for I do not wish to cater to such individuals whose thoughts are carnal and ideologies based on the aesthetic and pedigreed vs. substance and the grace of true humility.

This Gateway Page takes you into my world -- my mind. It is the first step down a path of hard fact and supposition; a philosophy in which you are challenged to ask questions and contemplate the "why?" To look at life on a grander scale on one hand, and at the microcosm on the other, so you might better comprehend that which is truly divine as well as important.

I am a No Frills Psychic and as such, I hope to not be viewed in the same way so many of my fellows seem to relish. I am not "Politically Correct" nor do I censor myself when expressing points of view; I call a spade a spade, a duck a duck.  Similarly, I will do my best to remove from your mind the illusion most of us have when it comes to the idea of what a "Psychic" is, and allow you to discover that it is not something etheric or even remotely as special or unique as others insinuate. 

If this seems the type of thing that feels proper to you, then welcome to my world.  Maybe together we can learn to make enough sense out of it all so as to make it into the next incarnation is a way that is positive and fulfilling.

Perspectives of an Outspoken Mystic

As mentioned elsewhere, I am far removed from that fluffy-cloud realm in which the majority of today's "Psychics" and "Spiritually Minded" reside.  You may even say that I'm proud of the fact that I am not just "Human" but an "Earthling" -- one that lives on this planet, at this point in time, and who is willing to actually SEE what surrounds him rather than affirm and visualize a Nirvana-like idea that simply is not!

It's not that I wish to belittle the various acts of affirmation, nor the efforts made by the many in helping each unfolding generation to actually look at life and the world in more and more benevolent ways. I applaud these missionaries but likewise admonish them for being delusional  and promoting a very dangerous sense of delusion into the minds and lives of the "lost".

The Peddling of Hope has brought profit to men since the earliest of times; especially during those periods in which social, economic and political uncertainty is in the air such as we can readily see in the here and now of our truth -- this reality my fellows love to blind you of by offering you another crystal, a hula-hoop with which to dance, a drum to beat or beads to pray with. Even our Abrahamic Detractors SELL something to the people so as to pacify them and keep them forever "faithful".  The catch phrase here is "Sell" -- Commerce -- for that is what Religion is all about -- what all modes of Dogma bring to us. And yes, this includes the illusion of fun, freedom and acts of reckless abandon such as we find in the new Temples of the 21st Century -- the Casino.

Casinos?

Yes, just like Church's, Synagogues, Ashrams, Nimetons and Sacred Groves the Casino likewise sells us false-hope by way of delusional thought implanting, what we used to call "Brain Washing" -- that subliminal sense of programming we are bombarded by day after day via the media -- the clergy of this new time -- Advertising & Marketing Agencies and the lawyers that serve as their deacons. 

Crass?

I really do hope so, for it is a sampling as to where I come from in my various writings on a very wide range of issues. My obligation, as it were, isn't to SELL you on some kind of false-hope, but to help you learn to SEE what's real about this life, this time and how you most likely fit in with the scheme of things. My belief being that my less traditional style of spreading the word, may just allow the common man, woman and young person to understand that you needn't give up McDonald's and exist on grass and weeds of various sort, to be "Spiritual"; nor do you need to invest hour upon hour chanting, ringing bells or dinging gongs in a room filled with incense and smoke. You merely need to get real, to be honest, open, sincere and at peace with yourself and ALL that surrounds you.  You merely need to be as Christ, Buddha and the many other great Master-Teachers that have walked upon this planet in service to those they encountered, not acting superior or trying to make a quick dollar selling you something.

You Are Your Own Redeemer!

I nor anyone else alive, dead, ascended or yet born can "save" you or this planet and the many races that inhabit it. It is an onus that rests upon the shoulders of the individual and, more specifically, in the heart thereof. For the heart, according to most traditions, is the living Holy of Holies -- the Seat of Divinity and the alter upon which the Eternal Flame of Life is found -- the Holy Grail!

"HOPE", at least in your case, can only exist within you as the result of seeing clearly -- opening your eyes and ears so that the illusions and countless, sometimes antiquated ideologies of men, no longer distract you.  Especially those that seek to sell you that "Hope". 

Sure, I have wares and services that I sell through this web site.  But I do not offer them as any kind of "solution", I simply don't have that level of ability; I'm mortal and the best I can do is serve as a sounding board to you just as you will be for me when you choose to ignore my "tactlessness" in exchange of understanding the message -- the "Lessons" I give to you here, now, for FREE.
